“OC” (observers/controller) personnel validate each squad’s tactical proficiency in all events during the 84th Engineer Brigade Best Squad Competition while ensuring each member performs it in a safe manner on Schofield Barracks, Hawaii, Oct. 20, 2015. These events were designed to help evaluate the unit’s readiness to operate in a tactical environment while providing leadership training to Soldiers, which allowed them to constantly learn, adapt, and build camaraderie amongst their teams.
