The Mejid Pumping Station has three 500,000 liter tanks, two 250,000 liter tanks, and sixteen 150,000 liter tanks, for a total capacity of 4.4 million liters of fuel. The pumping station was designed to store and pump all fuel requirements for the entire 7th Iraqi Army Division. Although functional, it is currently not in use.
