The U.S. Marine Corps Silent Drill Platoon performs during an evening parade at Marine Barracks Washington, Washington, D.C., Aug. 21, 2015. The Honorable Andy Berke, mayor of Chattanooga; the Honorable Earl Anthony ‘Tony’ Reavley, Director of Hamilton County Emergency Services & Homeland Security; and the Honorable Fred Fletcher, Chief of Police, Chattanooga Police Department, were the guests of honor for the parade at Marine Barracks Washington, D.C., and U.S. Marine Corps Lt. Gen. Richard P. Mills, commander of Marine Forces Reserve, Marine Forces North, was the hosting official. The Evening Parade began in 1934 and features the Silent Drill Platoon, the U.S. Marine Band, the U.S. Marine Corps Drum and Bugle Corps, and two marching companies.
