Marines with Combat Logistics Battalion 3 and Headquarters Battalion, 3rd Marine Regiment, communicate through high frequency radio from Camp H.M. Smith, Hawaii, to Marines in Okinawa, Japan, and Camp Pendleton, Calif. on Oct. 21, 2015. Marines conducted the transmission to demonstrate that U.S. Marine Corps Forces, Pacific would be able to communicate with I Marine Expeditionary Force and III Marine Expeditionary Force through high frequency radio transmissions.
