Leonard Lawrence from Effingham, Ill. assigned to D Company, 4th Battalion, 6th Infantry Regiment provides oversight in an Iraqi federal police humvee during a drivers' joint training exercise in November. Continuing their "advise and assist" mission with month-long rotations at JHS Shaheen in the Federal Police Brigade Headquarters, the D Company Soldiers provide security for the compound and simultaneously develop and execute training plans.
