Chief Petty Officer John Mincey, a crew member aboard the Coast Guard Cutter Spencer, hugs his family after the cutter returned to homeport in Boston Friday, Oct. 30, 2015 after a 65-day patrol of the Caribbean Sea. During the patrol, Spencer’s crew intercepted four go-fast vessels suspected of trafficking drugs, and directly contributed to the seizure 2,204 pounds of marijuana and 13,697 of cocaine worth approximately $50 million.
