Stephen Williams, Provost Marshal Office dog handler, participates in an iron dog competition Oct. 23 aboard Marine Corps Base Quantico. Handlers often collaborate with outside agencies to improve detection training and bite-work training. The event was sponsored by Rocky Mountain Dawgs Project, which continues to bring awareness to the general public about military dogs and their handlers who have been killed in the line of duty.
