U.S. Army Staff Sgt. Edwin Torrescortes, a medic assigned to Joint Special Operations Task Force-Philippines, and Armed Forces of the Philippines Capt. Ramio Angcap pass out booklets on home remedies to staff at the Languyan municipal hospital at a Medical Civic Action Project. The MEDCAP, which provided care to more than 400 patients, was a first in the area. Medical staff performed check-ups, 21 circumcisions, 73 tooth extractions and passed out 14 boxes of clothing and supplies.
