Sgt. David Roberts, a computer technician with the 620th Combat Sustainment Support Battalion, 96th Sustainment Brigade out of St. Louis, Mo., took second place in a chess tournament held last week at The Eagles Nest Morale Welfare and Recreation center. "Sgt. David Roberts is quite a talented chess player and it took him a while to find an opponent worthy of his skills. One of our more competitive soldiers he had no problem congratulating the winner as it gives him something to strive for next time," said Sgt. Jason Smith, a St. Louis, Mo. native, and a highway operations sergeant with the 620th CSSB.
