Cpl. Colin Latham, a rifleman with Company E, Battalion Landing Team 2/6, fires his weapon during close-quarter firing drills aboard the USS Oak Hill in the Gulf of Aden, Nov. 7. The live-fire exercise provided an opportunity for the unit to practice marksmanship and increase the unit’s shooting proficiency. The 26th Marine Expeditionary Unit is embarked on the Kearsarge Amphibious Ready Group and is deployed to maintain regional security in the U.S. 5th Fleet area of operations.
