Iraqi soldiers assigned 71st Iraqi Army Brigade practice moving through a town while participating in an assault scenario during urban operations training at Camp Taji, Iraq, Nov. 3, 2015. The soldiers learned how to secure buildings in preparation for their fight against the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL). Training at the building partner capacity sites is an integral part of Combined Joint Task Force – Operation Inherent Resolve’s multinational effort to train Iraqi Security Forces personnel to defeat ISIL. A coalition of regional and international nations have joined together to defeat ISIL and the threat they pose to Iraq, Syria, the region and the wider international community.
