A Catholic Mass is performed at the 1st Cavalry Division Museum, Fort Hood, Texas, Nov. 2. The Mass was held after ceremony was hosted by 1st Cavalry Division to honor Chaplain Capt. Emil Kapaun, of the 8th Cavalry Regiment, along with all of the Soldiers that lost their lives at the Battle of Unsan in 1950. In remembrance of the way Father Kapaun would hold Mass on the battlefield, the hood of a Korean War-era jeep was used as the altar. (U.S. Army photo by Sgt.
