More than 6,000 Marines from 2nd Marine Division celebrated the 240th Marine Corps birthday with a motivational three-mile run at Camp Lejeune, N.C., Nov. 9, 2015. Sergeant Jeramey Mielke, an engineer equipment mechanic with 2nd Marine Division, dutifully stands with his unit’s battle colors at the conclusion of the run.
