U.S. Air Force explosive ordnance disposal technicians from the 447th Expeditionary Civil Engineer Squadron, deployed to Mahmudiyah, Iraq, prepare for a controlled detonation by taking inventory of the number of boxes of C-4 they have available, Nov. 23. The purpose of the control detonation is to mitigate explosives hazards and limit the enemy's warfighting capabilities in Iraq.
