Cpl. Hussein Gallo and Spte. Pascal Simba, of the Kenya army, communicate by radio from inside the Eastern Africa Standby Brigade Joint Exercise Cell at the Arta Military Academy in Djibouti for the multi-national, Eastern Africa Standby Force Field Training Exercise Dec. 1, 2009. This is a United Nations-supported exercise for the countries representing the Eastern Africa region. Ten nations are participating in the exercise, which is designed to test their operating capabilities.
