JOINT BASE PEARL HARBOR-HICKAM, (Nov. 11, 2015) Retired submarine veteran Master Chief John Dugan, representing the United States Submarine Veterans Inc., places a lei on the plaque of each World War II submarine on Eternal Patrol during the Veterans Day ceremony at the Pearl Harbor Submarine Park and Parche Memorial. The event honored submarine veterans past and present and paid a special tribute to submariners who have made the ultimate sacrifice for freedom.
