Lance Cpl. Jesse Gilmour poses as an inmate during a demonstration of how to handle an unruly inmate, during Okinawa Prefectural Police Department’s tour through the Marine Corps Installation Pacific Brig on Camp Hansen, Okinawa, Japan, Oct. 22, 2015. The demonstration showed how guards properly take down and restrain an out-of-control inmate. The unruly inmate is then placed into a restraint chair where the inmate is given up to four hours to calm down. If the inmate persists to show aggression after four hours, a medical officer must check on the inmate before proceeding for another four hours. Gilmour is from Jupiter, Florida, and is a corrections specialist with Bravo Company, Headquarters and Service Battalion, Marine Corps Installations Pacific.
