151113-N-OI810-112 PHILIPPINE SEA (Nov. 13, 2015) Sailors signal a pilot to test the vertical stabilizers of an F/A-18E Super Hornet from the "Dambusters" of Strike Fighter Squadron (VFA) 195 during a pre-flight test on the flight deck of the U.S. Navy's only forward-deployed aircraft carrier USS Ronald Reagan (CVN 76). Ronald Reagan and its embarked air wing, Carrier Air Wing (CVW) 5, provide a combat-ready force that protects and defends the collective maritime interests of the U.S. and its allies and partners in the Indo-Asia-Pacific region.
