Park, Ki-kyung, the commander of Component Flotilla 5, left, receive a tutorial of explosive ordnance equipment from Lt. j.g. Scott Kendrick, platoon officer in charge of Explosive Ordnance Demolition Mobile Unit (EODMU) 5, during exercise Clear Horizon. Exercise Clear Horizon is an annual bilateral exercise between the U.S. and Republic of Korea navies that focus on increasing capabilities and coordination between ships and aircraft in mine countermeasures in international waters surrounding the Korean peninsula.
