SOUTH CHINA SEA (Nov. 15, 2015) A U.S. Marine with the 15th Marine Expeditionary Unit swims back to the USS Essex (LHD 2) after jumping off the side of the ship during a swim call. The Marines and Sailors of the 15th MEU and Essex Amphibious Ready Group jumped 30-feet into the water and swam to their respective check point. The 15th MEU is currently deployed in the Indo-Asia-Pacific region to promote regional stability and security in the U.S. 7th Fleet area of operations. (U.S. Marine Corps photo by Cpl.
