"The Tast of Blood and Tears" made by Hot Shop Heroes participants, is an inspiration of a monument in Iraq that represents the blood and tears shed by all who have served or lost loved ones in any conflict. Healing in Flames is an exhibit open at the Museum of Glass in Tacoma, Wash. The Hot Shop Heroes program teaches soldiers glass art as a way to heal from the trauma of war. (U.S. Army photo by Pfc.
