Garlasco is a platoon commander with the 15th Marine Expeditionary Unit’s Force Reconnaissance Detachment. Kurtz is the commanding officer of India Company, Battalion Landing Team 3rd Battalion, 1st Marine Regiment, 15th MEU. Brig. Gen. Aminan is the Chief of the Army for the Royal Brunei Land Forces. Elements of the 15th MEU Marines are ashore in Brunei to perform day and night training in an urban environment and to enhance interoperability and partnership between the U.S. and Brunei.
