Iraqi soldiers with the Iraqi Army Noncommissioned Officer Academy participate in a patrol scenario during a night urban operations training exercise at Camp Taji, Iraq, Nov. 10, 2015. The soldiers participated in the exercise to learn how to use the dark as cover in the fight against the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL). This training teaches the Iraqis how to maneuver without light and to be as silent as possible to surprise the enemy during an urban assault. Training at this building partner capacity site is an integral part of Combined Joint Task Force – Operation Inherent Resolve’s multinational effort to train Iraqi Security Force personnel to defeat ISIL.
