    U.S. Army Staff Sgt. Christy Cheshire, a National Guard Soldier deployed to Kosovo with 1st Squadron, 150th Cavalry Regiment, out of Bluefield, W.V., fires an M9 pistol during a weapons qualification event, Nov. 8, 2015, at Camp Bondsteel, Kosovo. The weapons range was held as part of Multinational Battle Group-East’s November Soldier of the Month competition, in which Cheshire was named the competition’s top noncommissioned officer.
