Soldiers from the Republic of Georgia wait in a tree line as they prepare to assault an objective during a practice run for a combined arms live-fire exercise at Grafenwoehr Training Area, Germany, Nov. 18. The exercise was the culminating event for Combined Resolve V, a U.S. Army Europe-directed multinational exercise with more than 4,000 participants from 10 NATO and partner nations. Combined Resolve provides a complex scenario that focuses on multinational unified land operations and reinforces the U.S. commitment to NATO and Europe.
