Thirty-four Airmen from the 921st Contingency Response Squadron from Travis Air Force Base, Calif., prepared seven C-17 Globemaster IIIs and approximately 600 passenger paratroopers of the 82nd Airborne Division for Exercise Ultimate Reach in Zaragoza, Spain, Nov. 2-7, 2015. The Ultimate Reach Exercise had seven C-17 Globemaster IIIs drop approximately 600 paratroopers of the 82nd Airborne Division over Zaragoza, Spain. In support of this joint forcible entry exercise, five KC-10s from Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst, N.J., and Travis Air Force Base, Calif., provided aerial refueling. More than 5,000 U.S. service members are participating in Trident Juncture. Elements of the exercise are being conducted in Spain, Portugal, Italy, Belgium, Canada, Germany, the Netherlands, Norway and at sea.
