Sgt. Taylor Coe, of the Cal Guard's Los Alamitos-based 9th Civil Support Team, remotely controls a Talon robot seeking the source of a safe level of radiation detected during a Veterans Day exercise at the General George S. Patton Memorial Museum in Chiriaco Summit, Calif. The 9th CST is testing the robot during a pilot program to assess its future use in chemical, biological, radiological and nuclear-response missions.
