A stack of unexploded ordinance glistens in the sun at Tarnak Range outside Kandahar Air Field, Afghanistan. Among the stack to be disposed of were rocket motors, large munitions and phosphorus. The EOD teams at KAF take part in two controlled detonations of unexploded ordinance per month.
