151124-N-YL073-173 NAVAL SUPPORT ACTIVITY BAHRAIN (Nov. 24, 2015) Hospital Corpsman 3rd Class Luis Sampedro, from Bolingbrook, Illinois, raises the Union Jack flag on the flight deck aboard the amphibious assault ship USS Kearsarge (LHD 3) as the ship pulls into Manama, Bahrain during a port visit. Kearsarge is the flagship for the Kearsarge Amphibious Ready Group (ARG) and, with the embarked 26th Marine Expeditionary Unit (MEU), is deployed in support of maritime security operations and theater security cooperation efforts in the U.S. 5th Fleet area of operations.
