Gilmore, a light armored vehicle (LAV) repairman with Light Armored Reconnaissance Company, Battalion Landing Team 2/6, 26th Marine Expeditionary Unit (MEU), wipes off his hands after cleaning an LAV engine aboard the amphibious assault ship USS Kearsarge (LHD 3) Dec. 4, 2015. Repairmen with the company serviced an LAV engine with an oil leak.
