CW2 Harvey Lacanilao awards Gunnery Sergeant Anabell Nevels the Meritorious Service Medal July 14 aboard Camp Fuji, Gotemba, Japan. Along with being award the Meritorious Service Medal, Nevels also received the Military Surface Deployment and Distribution Command 2013 Excellence in Traffic Management award and the 2013 Marine Corps Enlisted Logistician of the Year award. Lacanilao and Nevels are both distribution management analysts with Logistics Modernization Team, Field Supply and Maintenance Analysis Office Western Pacific, Headquarters Marine Corps.
