151204-N-WK391-047 PACIFIC OCEAN (Dec. 4, 2015) Electronics Technician 1st Class Nathan Savage tests signal levels on an electronics panel aboard amphibious transport dock ship USS New Orleans (LPD 18), which is part of the Boxer Amphibious Ready Group (ARG). The Boxer ARG is off the coast of Southern California completing a certification exercise (CERTEX). CERTEX is the final evaluation of the 13th Marine Expeditionary Unit (13th MEU) and Boxer ARG prior to deployment and is intended to certify their readiness to conduct integrated missions across the full spectrum of military operations.
