BANGOR, Wash. (Dec. 07, 2015) – Sailors assigned to the Gold crew of the Ohio-class ballistic-missile submarine USS Nevada (SSBN 733) return to Naval Base Kitsap-Bangor following a routine strategic deterrence mission. Nevada is one of eight ballistic-missile submarines stationed in the Pacific Northwest providing the survivable leg of the strategic deterrence triad for the United States.
