CAMP PENDLETON, Calif. (Dec. 2, 2015) - Seaman Jarrod Williamson, assigned to deck department gives the signal to an amphibious assault vehicle (AAV) transiting to the main vehicle storage area during well deck operations aboard amphibious transport dock ship USS Somerset (LPD 25) as part of Exercise Steel Knight. Steel Knight is a 1st Marine Division led exercise which enables the Navy-Marine team to operate in a realistic combined-arms environment to develop skill sets necessary to operate as a fully capable Marine Air Ground Task Force.
