CAROLINA, Puerto Rico-- Col. Edward L. Vaughan, 156th Airlift Wing commander, made his first visit to the Geographically Separated Unit 141st Air Control Squadron in Punta Borinquen Radar Site. During his visit face to face with the known “Quijotes” he went hands on with familiarization of their their mission, personnel, equipment, support and security issues, manning, and the overall morale and welfare of the unit. Vaughan offered his assistance to Lt. Col. Ramon Cruz, 141st Air Control Squadron Commander, in resolving issues that may impede the 141st from executing their primary mission to deploy to an Air Expeditionary Force mission anywhere on the globe with a capable, trained and agile force.
