Infantry Soldiers from the Joint Readiness Training Center, Operations Group - including “Geronimo” Soldiers from 1st Battalion, 509th Parachute Infantry Regiment - are tested for the coveted Expert Infantry Badge Dec. 9 near Fort Polk, La. The events culminate Dec. 11 with a 12-mile road march and graduation ceremony for those Soldiers earning the EIB, who meet or exceed the standards of infantry-related tasks.
