Lt. Gen. Robert L. Van Antwerp, commander of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, addresses members of the USACE Afghanistan Engineer District - South at a town hall meeting here Dec. 15. Van Antwerp was here to see the progress of the unit established six months ago in response to rising numbers of troops and construction projects to accomodate them. The Engineers are preparing for more projects in anticipation of the arrival of new troops in the coming months.
