Squadron-mate to the USNS Sgt. Matej Kocak, the USNS 1st Lt. Baldomero Lopez pulled into a port in the Persian Gulf alongside the Kocak. The two ships serve as "floating warehouses" for the Marine Corps, with the ability to, within a matter of days, deliver equipment, vehicles, and supplies to support more than 15,000 troops.
