Marines with Battery S, 5th Battalion, 11th Marine Regiment stand watch during the 1st Marine Division’s Exercise Steel Knight at Marine Corps Air Ground Combat Center Twentynine Palms, Calif., Dec. 11, 2015. The battery’s M142 High Mobility Artillery Rocket Systems provide indirect fire support to maneuver forces throughout the exercise. Steel Knight enables the Marines and sailors to operate in a realistic environment to develop skill sets necessary to maintain a fully capable Marine Air Ground Task Force.
