TAJI, Iraq -- U.S. Army Maj. Herb Joliat, civil military officer, 1st Brigade Combat Team, 4th Infantry Division, escorts Mr. Paul Brinkley, Deputy Under Secretary of Defense for Business Transformation, and an Iraqi army soldier to the Tarmiya Youth Center, June 2. Joliat was instrumental in facilitating $7.5 million in infrastructure projects in the city of Tarmiya in less than three months.
