Christmas comes a bit early for nearly 140 North Carolina National Guard Tarheel Challenge Academy Cadets of Class 45 at their graduation ceremony held at the Sampson County Agri-Exposition Center in Clinton, N.C., Dec. 11, 2015. The ceremony completed the TCA 22-week resident quasi-military style school program at the Salemburg, N.C. campus. The graduates received the gift of a second chance, earned respect and new friends through hard, tough physical and mental tests and trials. “Thank you for our journey, it was time for us to make a change,” said Cadet William J.
