Capt. Jerome Hamel, commander of Sealift Logistics Command Pacific, signs his name as a witness to the decommissioning ceremony of the Military Sealift Command combat stores ship USNS San Jose (T-AFS 7). San Jose is the last of eight combat stores ships to deactivate from the Military Sealift Command Naval Fleet Auxiliary Force whose primary mission is to delivery food, fuel and supplies to U.S. Navy ships.
