Republic of Korea and U.S. Marines get together this holiday season to conduct bilateral training for the Korean Marine Exchange Program 16-3 at Rodriguez Live Fire Complex, South Korea, Dec. 23, 2015. The time spent together of the holidays focuses the enduring alliances and friendship between the ROK and U.S Marine Corps. The KMEP highlights greater organizational fusion, which is a bilateral and collaborative effort between ROK and U.S Marine Corps forces from planning to execution. The ROKMC is a professional, warfighting organization that III MEF Marines work alongside and learn from to become more effective partners. The Marines are from 1st Battalion, 2nd Marines regiment, currently forward deployed in the Pacific as part of 4th Marine Regiment, 3rd Marine Division, III Marine Expeditionary Force.
