Gulf of Aden – An S.A.330 Super Puma releases pallets of supplies from the dry cargo and ammunition ship USNS Richard E. Byrd (T-AKE 4), aboard the amphibious transport dock ship USS Arlington (LPD 24) during replenishment-at-sea (RAS) in the Gulf of Aden, Dec. 25, 2015. The RAS was conducted to resupply the USS Arlington with fuel, food, and mail for Sailors and Marines with the 26th Marine Expeditionary Unit, embarked aboard the Kearsarge Amphibious Ready Group and deployed in support of maritime security operations in the 5th Fleet area of operations.
