WASHINGTON (Jan. 6, 2016) John Lewis, left, a civil rights movement hero and current U.S. representative of Georgia's 5th congressional district, thanks Secretary of the Navy (SECNAV) Ray Mabus for naming the future fleet replenishment oiler USNS John Lewis (T-AO 205) in his honor. During his speech, Lewis recounted the tears he shed when Mabus told him the Navy's plans for honoring his years and efforts dedicated to the civil rights movement.
