A young Iraqi girl looks on as other children at the Tikrit orphange in Tikrit, Iraq, sort through toys, clothes and school supplies delivered by an Iraqi Emergency Response Battalion and U.S. soldiers Dec. 23, 2009. Children have been staying at the orphanage for the last five years. "They don't have parents to guide them in the right ways to live," explained Fatin Abu Gharid, the director of the orphanage. "So, we try and teach them to love peace and not turn to crime."
