Sergeant Major of the Marine Corps, Sgt. Maj. Ronald L. Green, addressed Marines of Marine Aircraft Group 49, 4th Marine Aircraft Wing, at Naval Air Station Joint Reserve Base New Orleans, Jan. 19, 2016. Sgt. Maj. Green exchanged stories with the Marines about their time before the Corps and how they made the decision to become Marines. Green also commended Marines for their hard work, encouraged them to protect what they’ve earned as Marines, and emphasized the importance of upholding the standards of the Corps on and off duty.
