160114-N-IG696-025 DIEGO GARCIA, British Indian Ocean Territory (Jan. 14, 2016) – Culinary Specialist Seaman Apprentice Seth Husar, assigned to the guided-missile submarine USS Florida (SSGN 728), serves food to a Sailor onboard USS Emory S. Land. Military Sealift Command and culinary specialists from the Florida are serving Sailors from both crews onboard Emory S. Land while the submarine receives maintenance. Emory S. Land is a forward deployed expeditionary submarine tender on an extended deployment conducting coordinated tended moorings and afloat maintenance in the U.S. 5th and 7th Fleet areas of responsibility.
