The Development training provides attendees opportunities to hone the skills of senior executives and enable them to face leadership challenges and build effective systems. The Department of the Navy civilian executives are world-class enterprise leaders and technical leadership specialists who work across the Department of Defense and federal government, exerting influence and supporting the most substantive national security efforts. To be successful, they must acquire a progressively broad, diverse, and cross-functional portfolio, undertaking developmental activities that stretch their capacity to perform at an ever higher level.
