U.S. Army Sgt. David McGregor, from Bartlesville, Okla., assigned to 1st Battalion, 77th Armor Regiment, 4th Brigade Combat Team, 1st Armored Division, uses a compass to plot mortar targets during a live fire training event near Nasiriyah, Dhi Qar, Iraq, Dec. 31, 2009. The event was to provide 10th Iraqi Army soldiers a demonstration on the process of calculating and firing on mortar targets.
